Frequently Asked Questions

proShift sums all shift hours within a Monday–Sunday calendar week by default. If your organization uses a different week boundary, you can configure the reference period in Settings → Compliance. Split shifts (e.g. morning + evening with a break) are each counted separately and their hours are summed.

Yes, on Professional and Business plans, managers can override amber (warning) violations with a written justification note that is stored in the compliance audit log. Red (critical) violations — such as exceeding the 45-hour limit — require Business plan or above to override and are always logged.

proShift includes Turkey's full public holiday calendar. Work assigned on a public holiday is automatically flagged for 2× pay in the payroll export and counted toward the overtime tracker. You can add regional or company-specific holidays in Settings → Calendar.

Turkish labor law does not prescribe a specific minimum notice period for schedule changes outside of collective agreements. proShift sends instant push notifications on any change and logs a change history. We recommend a 48-hour minimum as a best practice, which you can configure as a soft warning in Settings → Compliance.

Yes. Under Article 63, an employer can distribute the 45-hour weekly limit unevenly — up to 11 hours per day — over a 2-month period (extendable to 4 months by collective agreement). Enable Compressed Work Week mode in Settings → Compliance, set the reference period, and proShift will track the average against the legal ceiling.
